Blenheim Palace

World Heritage site and birth place of Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is preparing its grounds for Christmas with a little help from Christmas Tree World.

Steeped in history, Blenheim Palace is one of England’s largest stately homes and ancestral home to the Dukes of Marlborough and has seen Aristocrats and world leaders grace its walls since its conception in 1704.

At over 300 years old it’s fair to say that the historical Palace has seen its fair share of Christmas celebrations, but like many domestic homes and perhaps surprisingly, the team at Blenheim Palace have chosen to use some artificial trees to adorn the Palace.

Opting for Christmas Tree World’s popular 7ft and 12ft Arbor Vitae Fir Trees, they will be tastefully decorated with Christmas Tree World’s white lights, which can be seen dazzling from across the home’s generous grounds.

Appointed with the almighty task of bringing Christmas to Britain’s most famous home is House Manager Kate Ballenger, who commented: “Blenheim Palace uses Christmas Tree World for their artificial trees as the service is excellent and the quality is second to none. Not only are they very easy to assemble and fire retardant, but also extremely sturdy and look highly realistic.

“Whilst we do grow our own trees on the Estate, it’s important that we also use artificial trees to limit the risk of insects being bought in that would damage the collection inside the Palace.”
