There’s a chill in the air and our fingers are getting nippy, it’s official; Christmas is getting closer! As excitement builds and holiday preparations start in earnest, we’ve had some fantastic social media suggestions from the Christmas super fans amongst you. We’re always ones to oblige at Christmas Tree World, so in a moment of festive indulgence we thought we’d include some of the most hotly debated festive topics right here on the blog. You asked for Christmas decorations inspiration, so we’re bringing it by the bucket load (we just couldn’t resist...!). So pop on the kettle, grab a biscuit and start writing your Christmas list! As ever if you have any queries at all about our trees, sizing or styles, then please get in touch and we’ll try our best to help.

Flora and Fauna

Bird inspired decor is incredibly reflective of Parisian style, so if you know your parquet from your flagstones then this Christmas theme is bound to be the focal point of your home this year. Perfect for those who don’t like the razzmatazz of Christmas baubles and tinsel, a few ornithological decorations here and there look beautiful on ‘woodland’ themed trees. Complete the look on a budget by using pinecones from the garden and adding delicate LED lighting.

Warm Tones

Red and gold Christmas baubles feature the ultimate festive hues and we absolutely love this style for traditional homes and country cottages. Of course if your little ones prefer a less classic style (i.e. reams of tinsel and bright home-made decorations) then a realistic Christmas tree adorned with rich, warm colours is probably out of the question, but we couldn’t resist not including such a timeless Christmas theme. Extend the look to your Christmas dining table with gold rimmed champagne flutes, satin-effect red napkins and crisp white china.

Alpine

Dreaming of a white Christmas? We can’t guarantee snowfall, but we can guarantee a snowy Christmas tree perfect for the modern home. Add a pop of colour with coloured baubles or opt for a cool blue theme with our blue and silver Christmas baubles for minimalist style.

Sugar and Spice

It’s fair to say the candy tree is best suited to those without an insatiable sweet tooth, otherwise you could find yourself redecorating your tree on a weekly basis! We love this simple yet pretty theme and let’s be honest, if you opt for candy canes wrapped in cellophane then it slightly takes the pain out of taking the tree down in January! Extend the theme throughout your home by sprinkling your Christmas dining table with boiled sweets, small bags of bonbons and candy canes.

Nostalgia

If you’ve got children (even if they’re 25) then this theme will probably be a popular one in your home! The theory is simple, document the years on your tree and showcase their home-made creations from 1995. Lovely, homely and a great way to bring that childhood excitement back to decorating the tree. Inspired? We thought so! Before you go please take a look around our Christmas tree sale for pre-Christmas bargains. The way we see it, it's more in the pot for presents! You can also see our full range of artificial Christmas trees!
