Our Realistic Christmas Trees Make Real Trees Grow!
Our work with the fantastic Borneo Nature Foundation (BNF) has helped to restore the rainforest and save the home of wild Bornean orangutans.
For every order placed during our partnership (from 2019-2024), a real tree was planted in the fire-damaged rainforest.
Since 2024, we have increased our contributions to work with TreeApp. Our latest donation has been used to help restore the Usambara Forests in Tanzania.

Frequently asked questions
Both PE and PVC branch tips are fantastic for creating realistic natural-looking trees.
Some brands say injection-moulded PE branch tips are the only option for realistic branches, but as Christmas tree specialists we know that's not always true.
PE branch tips are strong and look lifelike, but PVC also looks very real. Plus, PVC is more malleable, making it easier to fluff and fill in gaps.
Many of our bestselling realistic trees have a mix of PE & PVC branch tips which look hyper-realistic and bushy, and are half the cost of 100% PE.
The most realistic Christmas tree shape is one which looks slightly asymmetrical, conical, and has a layered branch structure.
Branches with irregular gaps also look really realistic and are great for natural-looking ornament hanging. Upswept branches always look super lifelike, as if they have been grown in the wild.
Artificial trees with a more uniform shape can also look natural, especially when branches are fluffed in star-shapes to create a more irregular silhouette.
The most realistic artificial Christmas trees feature a multi-tonal green, rather than a solid block of colour.
Real evergreens mimic the dappled light of the outdoors, so when shopping for a realistic tree, look for two-tone greens which are darker at the base of the branch and lighter at the tip, just like a real tree.
Yes, there's no reason why they shouldn't be.
Realistic Christmas trees may be at the higher end of a budget due to their good quality foliage, but they very often come with hinged branches to make assembling the tree easy. This doesn't mean the tree is flimsy, either — attached hinged branches are just as good as hook-on.
Many of our trees come with colour-coded attached hinged branches so that you just slot together the sections. It should take just a few minutes to set up, and then the rest of your time can be spent on fluffing and getting your realistic tree to look great.
For a real-looking Christmas tree, you can expect to spend anything from £50 up to £500, depending on the size and how hyper-realistic you are going.
Realistic Christmas trees at the more affordable end of the price range are usually made with PVC needles, while more premium realistic trees are often made with PE or a mix of PE & PVC.
You should also expect to pay more if you opt for a pre-lit realistic tree as the lights are pre-fitted and come included on the tree.
This being said, try to focus on more than price. Look at the pictures, read the reviews, and think about which tree is best for your space.
Speak to one of our customer service team if you're unsure about anything to do with our realistic Christmas trees range.
Not necessarily. More branch tips doesn't always produce a denser tree; it's about what you do with the branches to get your tree looking full.
If your branches are low quality, difficult to bend, flimsy, or positioned unnaturally in the construction, you'll struggle to get a full and bushy tree, no matter the branch tip count.
While a high branch tip count is handy for helping fill in sparse areas, it isn't the be all and end all. Look at the pictures, read the reviews, and think about which tree is best for your space before being led solely by number of branch tips.
No, a realistic Christmas tree doesn't need to be as heavy as a real Christmas tree. High quality trees are often lightweight, which makes them easy to erect and store.
You can find realistic Christmas trees which are more on the heavier side. While this can add to the charm and make it feel like you're working with a real Christmas tree, it isn't necessarily a marker of quality. It is a sign of a robust construction, though.
We think all artificial Christmas trees should be easy to fluff — it's through the fluffing that the magic is made.
Whether you've chosen PE or PVC, soft needle or hard needle, all our realistic Christmas trees are easy to fluff and come with easy-to-follow instruction booklets.
Yes, a realistic artificial Christmas tree should last an exceptionally long time.
Unlike real trees that must be replaced annually, a high-quality, realistic artificial tree made from durable PVC or PE can last 10 to 15 years or more with proper care.
We recommend either 6ft or 7ft trees as they are a good fit for most UK homes. If you have the space, 7ft Christmas trees are best as the tip of the tree won't sit directly at your eye level.
There is no real ideal width for a realistic Christmas tree. Natural trees come in all shapes and sizes, so it's really all down to your preference.
Some people like extra wide Christmas trees as they look the most organic, as if they've been freshly chopped. Others prefer slimmer trees which look a tad more symmetrical and can slot into a broader range of spaces.
