Yes, 6ft trees are popular sizes for homes with ceiling heights that sit slightly below 8ft. If your ceiling height is 8ft-9ft, we would recommend a 7ft tree, and for ceilings heights over 9ft, you probably want a taller Christmas tree to fill the space.

Will a 6ft Christmas tree fit in my home?

A 6ft Christmas tree is designed to fit most UK homes with standard 8ft ceilings. 

Before you buy, however, we recommend measuring your space to see where your tree’s tip sits in relation to your ceiling. 

The general rule is to leave around 20-30cm of clearance above the tree to accommodate a topper, while also checking the tree's width to ensure it fits comfortably in your chosen space. 

If the gap is measuring fairly big, a 7ft Christmas tree may be better suited.

How many lights do I need for a 6ft Christmas tree?
