Cluster Lights

Cluster Christmas tree lights are the way to go if you want to make a serious impact with your Christmas decorations this year. Unlike regular string Christmas lights, LED cluster tree lights are bunched closely together, creating a bold and striking illumination display.

Our chaser cluster Christmas lights make a statement, particularly if you have a large Christmas tree. The ‘chaser’ effect gives the impression that the light is travelling, adding to the eye-catching display.

How many cluster Christmas lights do I need?

Our indoor and outdoor cluster lights make it possible for you to create your festive display wherever you want. Transform the trees in your garden into a glowing grotto, or wrap cluster lights around your bannister or festive garland.

Getting the number of Christmas lights for your artificial Christmas tree can be tricky. A general to follow is 100 lights per foot of tree. As cluster Christmas lights contain more bulbs, you’ll get more out of them.

For example, if you have a 6ft artificial Christmas tree, you’ll probably need around 15m of lit cable length, with another 5m added for every additional foot of tree height. Of course, you’re free to pack as many lights on your tree as you wish, from 200 to 2000 LED cluster lights!

Christmas tree size guide

Artificial Christmas trees can come in a variety of heights. The best way to decide on the right tree height for you is to consider your space in the room you plan to put the tree in and if you want the tree to fill a room or add as an accent piece. As a best practice, you’ll want to select a tree that is at least 6 inches shorter than your ceiling, or 18 inches shorter if you plan on adding a tree topper. The typical height of a ceiling in a home is 8-9 feet.

  • Under 6 feet trees: Ideal for tabletops, decorative accents, small spaces, entryways, or kids’ bedrooms.
  • 6-8 feet trees: The most common tree size and perfect for most homes with average height ceilings.
  • Over 8 feet trees: Great for homes with taller than average ceilings, two story homes, and perfect for a space where you want your tree to be dramatic and a focal point of the room.
